Refurbished Products Policy

At Satti Ltd (Company No. 8263460, VAT No. GB 312 879 980), we sell a range of refurbished and grade-A used IT equipment alongside new products. This page explains exactly what “refurbished” means at Satti Ltd, how products are graded and tested, and what your warranty rights are.

Every refurbished or used product on our website is clearly labelled with its condition in the product title and description. We never list a used product as new.

What Does “Refurbished” Mean?

Refurbished products are pre-owned items that have been returned, traded in, or sourced from business disposal. Before being listed for sale, every refurbished item goes through our inspection and testing process to confirm it is fully functional.

Refurbished does not mean damaged or faulty. The vast majority of our refurbished stock is in excellent cosmetic condition and performs identically to a new unit.

Our Grading System

Grade A — Excellent

Minimal to no signs of use. The product looks and functions as new. May have very minor surface marks visible only under close inspection. All original functionality confirmed working.

Grade B — Good

Light signs of use such as minor scratches or scuffs on the casing. Fully functional. All ports, buttons, and features tested and confirmed working. Cosmetic marks do not affect performance.

Grade C — Fair

Visible signs of use including scratches, scuffs, or marks. Fully functional. Ideal for buyers who prioritise performance over aesthetics. All core features confirmed working.

The grade of every refurbished product is stated clearly in its product listing. If you are unsure of a product’s grade, please contact us before purchasing.

Testing & Inspection Process

All refurbished products sold by Satti Ltd are inspected and tested before dispatch. Our standard checks include:

  • Full power-on and functionality test
  • All ports, connections, and interfaces verified
  • Cosmetic inspection and accurate grading applied
  • Data wiped and reset to factory settings where applicable
  • Packaged securely for safe delivery

Warranty on Refurbished Items

All refurbished products sold by Satti Ltd come with a minimum 90-day warranty covering faults and failures under normal use. Many items carry a longer warranty — the specific warranty period is stated in each product listing.

Our warranty covers:

  • Hardware failure under normal use
  • Functionality defects not described in the listing

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage caused after delivery
  • Damage from misuse, liquid, or unauthorised modification

Returns

In addition to our warranty, you have the right to return any item within 14 days of receipt under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, whether or not it is faulty. Please visit our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
